First steps

Getting started with the Polyteia Platform.

1

Sign in and enable additional security measures

First, sign in with your email address. By default, you'll receive a one-time code via email. Alternatively, after your first login, you can set up a password and enable two-factor authentication (TOTP) under Settings → Account.

We recommend:

  • Setting a secure password

  • Activating TOTP with an authenticator app

  • Creating access keys (PAKs) for API access if needed

2

Account and Profile

Your account is your access to the Polyteia Platform – it contains your login credentials and personal settings.

Your profile is unique to each organization you join, making you visible to other members. You can modify your profile name or exit an organization whenever you wish.

3

Organization

Each organization is a secure space with:

Navigate using the side menu, switch organizations via the list menu at the top left, and use the path navigation at the top center for orientation.

4

Workspaces and Solutions

The homepage shows everything relevant at a glance:

  • Your favorite workspaces, solutions, and insights

  • A complete list of all solutions and workspaces you have access to

You can add any resource to your favorites via the path navigation.

5

Data access and management

Go to the Datasets and Insights sections to explore your organization's data:

  • In Datasets, you upload raw data and structure it

  • In Insights, you create diagrams, tables, and maps to visualize your data

Use filters, roles, tags, and groupings for effective data management.

6

Sharing and collaboration

The Polyteia Platform's permission model is precise: Each resource can be shared individually – with roles such as Viewer, Editor, or Owner.

You can:

  • Invite new members

  • Assign them to groups

  • Link organizations via Connect and share members across organizations

This enables maximum security while maintaining flexibility in collaboration.
