Sidebar

Quick access to the most important features.

The sidebar enables switching between organizations, accessing your dashboard, and quick access to important resources such as datasets and insights. It is the central entry point for navigation in Polyteia.

Organization selection

To switch organizations, click the dropdown menu at the top of the sidebar where your current organization is displayed.

Each organization operates independently, managing its own resources, permissions, and members. You can only access data that you have been directly invited to.

Home and favorites

Click on Home to open your personal dashboard. This shows:

  • Your Workspaces and Solutions

  • A quick re-entry into your ongoing work through your favorites

With favorites, you keep frequently used elements in view.

Quick access to resources

The sidebar contains direct links to:

  • Datasets – Your source data tables

  • Insights – Saved analyses and visualizations

  • Reports – Dashboards and text-based overviews (coming soon)

Navigation structure

Below the resources, you'll find:

  • Solutions – Folders for organizing related datasets and insights

  • Workspaces – Thematic areas for collaboration

Each area can be expanded and shows your favorites.

Global search

The Global Search allows you to quickly search for workspaces, solutions, datasets, and other resources and content without having to click through individual sections.

Settings

Under Settings, you can set personal preferences and, as an organization administrator, manage organization-related settings.

Collapse

The square symbol next to the organization selection allows you to collapse and expand the sidebar.
